Celebrating the life and Legacy of Athena M. Hart

On October 10th, 2022, Athena M. Hart lost her battle with cancer. The mother of Tiffany & Ronald Hart-Brown is remembered as a loving, caring woman who served her community and gave back consistently. It is within this memory that the children and Huey’s Son Apparel established the Athena M. Hart Memorial Scholarship.

The Athena M. Hart Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one recipient starting in spring 2024.

Scholarship guidelines:

Download the full scholarship details here. The Athena M. Hart Memorial Scholarship applicants must be enrolled in a college/higher education institution and pursuing a degree in social work, counseling, or within the mental health field. All applicants must have completed a minimum of 25 credits.

Key Scholarship Details:

  • - Scholarship Name: Athena M. Hart Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Students pursuing a degree in counseling or social work (Bachelors or Masters) with a current 3.5 GPA

  • Scholarship Amount:$1,500

  • Application Deadline: December 22nd, 2023

  • Application Process: Review the prompt at Hueysson.com and submit a 2-4 minute video response. Submissions, proof of enrollment, and current cumulative GPA should be emailed to Info@Hueyssons.com
